I understand that OxaaCab Service Pvt. Ltd. (“Company”) may request my motor vehicle record (MVR), also known as my state driving record, from authorized third-party providers as part of the application process to become a driver on the OxaaCab platform. I further understand that, if accepted as a driver, the Company may obtain updated driving records periodically to renew, extend, or reassess my status as a driver, to the extent permitted by law.
I hereby give consent to OxaaCab Service Pvt. Ltd. to access and obtain my driving record, in accordance with applicable laws including the Federal Driver’s Privacy Protection Act (DPPA), Indian Motor Vehicles Act, and other relevant state or central laws or guidelines. This authorization shall remain valid during my entire engagement with OxaaCab as a driver and serves as ongoing consent for future MVR checks.
I understand and agree that OxaaCab Service Pvt. Ltd. may conduct a background check as part of the driver onboarding process. This check may be conducted through a third-party verification partner and may include, but is not limited to:
Criminal background history check
SSN/ID trace verification (or Aadhaar/alternate ID verification as per Indian law)
Address verification
Court or police record verification
PAN card verification
Any other verification required by law or company policy
I understand that if I am onboarded as a driver, the Company may continue to conduct periodic checks as necessary.
I understand that any background information gathered will be used only for the purpose of assessing my eligibility as a driver.
I acknowledge that this process may involve direct or indirect contact with government authorities, police departments, or authorized agencies.
I confirm that I have received (or will be provided with) a copy of my rights under relevant privacy and background check laws such as the Indian IT Act, Motor Vehicles Act, and any applicable rules set forth by local transport authorities.
I understand I may dispute any incorrect or incomplete information found in the reports by contacting OxaaCab or the third-party agency responsible for the checks.
If a decision is made to deny or suspend my driver status based on background check results, I will be notified and given an opportunity to respond or challenge the findings, in accordance with fair procedural standards.
I authorize the collection and processing of my personal information, including but not limited to:
Full name
Date of birth
Driver's license details
Aadhaar/PAN/Voter ID details
Contact information
Any other ID or documentation as required
I voluntarily provide these for identity verification and consent to their use for background screening. I understand that all information will be handled securely and will not be sold or disclosed except as required by law or for the purposes mentioned above.
I may request a copy of any background or driving report generated by OxaaCab or its authorized screening agency. This request can be made by email to:

This agreement is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh.
