Equal Employment Opportunity and Non-Discrimination Policy

I. OVERVIEW & SCOPE

OxaaCab Service Pvt. Ltd., located at [Insert Full Address], has established this Non-Discrimination and Equal Employment Opportunity Policy ("EEO Policy"). This policy applies to all aspects of the relationship between OxaaCab Service Pvt. Ltd. and its employees, including but not limited to:

  • Employment

  • Recruitment

Any user or stakeholder found violating this policy will lose access to the OxaaCab platform.

Where applicable, local or national laws may permit or require services to be offered to specific classes of individuals. In such cases, compliance with those laws will not be considered a violation of this policy.


II. POLICIES

1. DISCRIMINATION

OxaaCab Service Pvt. Ltd. strictly prohibits any form of discrimination—without exception—on the basis of:

  • Race

  • Religion or creed

  • Color

  • Age

  • Disability

  • Pregnancy

  • Marital or parental status

  • Sexual orientation

  • Gender identity or expression

  • Veteran or military status

  • Victim of domestic violence status

  • National origin

  • Political affiliation

  • Sex

  • Genetic predisposition

  • Geographic location

  • Or any other status protected under applicable law

This list is not exhaustive. Reasonable workplace accommodations will be made for qualified individuals with disabilities as required by law.

Discrimination in transportation services is strictly prohibited.

All drivers, employees, and contractors must be aware of and comply with this non-discrimination policy. OxaaCab Service Pvt. Ltd. will not tolerate any unlawful denial of service based on protected characteristics in any public accommodation setting, including rideshare services.

Examples of Prohibited Discriminatory Conduct Include:

  • Refusing to pick up passengers based on any protected trait (e.g., gender, religion, or a passenger with a service animal)

  • Requesting a passenger to exit the vehicle due to protected traits

  • Using offensive or derogatory language based on protected traits

  • Refusing service in a particular geographic area based on bias

Geographic Discrimination

Drivers must not discriminate based on a passenger’s desired destination. All passengers must be treated equally, regardless of where they wish to travel. All staff, including management, agents, and partners, must adhere to this anti-discrimination commitment. In some jurisdictions, laws may offer greater protection, which OxaaCab will observe in full.


2. HARASSMENT

OxaaCab Service Pvt. Ltd. is committed to maintaining a workplace free from all forms of harassment. Any behavior that creates an intimidating, hostile, or humiliating environment violates this policy.

Harassment may be:

  • Verbal or non-verbal

  • Explicit or implicit

  • Between individuals of any gender

Harassment based on sex, race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, or other protected statuses will not be tolerated. All employees, managers, contractors, and drivers must comply with this policy.


3. SEXUAL HARASSMENT

Sexual harassment includes:

  • Unwelcome sexual advances

  • Requests for sexual favors

  • Any other conduct of a sexual nature that:

    1. Is a condition of employment or service

    2. Influences employment decisions

    3. Creates a hostile or offensive work environment

Examples include inappropriate jokes, comments, suggestive objects or images (physical or digital), or touching.

Sexual harassment is strictly prohibited regardless of whether it occurs between members of the opposite or same sex.


4. STATEMENT ON AFFIRMATIVE ACTION

OxaaCab Service Pvt. Ltd. is committed to increasing diversity and inclusion in its workforce. An affirmative action program has been implemented to promote the representation and advancement of minority and underrepresented groups within the company.


5. REPORTING DISCRIMINATION & HARASSMENT

If any employee or affiliate experiences or witnesses harassment or discrimination, they should report it immediately to:

Reports will be investigated promptly and confidentially. Corrective action will be taken where necessary. Early reporting is encouraged to ensure effective resolution. This reporting process does not limit the employee's right to contact relevant legal or government authorities.


6. RETALIATION

Retaliation against any individual who makes a report or assists in an investigation is strictly prohibited. All claims are treated as made in good faith unless proven otherwise. False accusations will be treated seriously and may lead to disciplinary action.


7. DISCIPLINARY MEASURES FOR HARASSMENT

Any individual who violates this policy may face disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment or contract, whether or not a legal violation has occurred.


8. REMEDIES

Verified cases of employment discrimination may result in remedies such as:

  • Back pay

  • Hiring or reinstatement

  • Promotion or transfer

  • Reasonable accommodation

  • Legal fee reimbursement

  • Other corrective actions deemed appropriate by OxaaCab


9. POLICY IMPLEMENTATION

This policy is fully supported by the leadership of OxaaCab Service Pvt. Ltd. and will be enforced at all organizational levels.
